Can you give me more information on the details of the
automatic window roll up feature?
When
the car is turned off, you press the “lock” button on
the keyless
remote,
the system will check the windows and sunroof. If the
system finds the windows and sunroof are open, the ccm
(Comfort Control Module) will give an order to the
window and sunroof motors and the windows and sunroof
will close automatically. Addressing the problem
of forgetting to close the windows when exiting the car.
2. Will KVW100 affect
the original functions?
After the update with KVW100, it will not affect any of
the original functions of the car.
3. After updating, if
the battery has no power, will
the auto roll up function be lost?
Absolutely
not, the feature is a permanent feature.
4. If I buy the KVW100
and the update failed, what should I do?
Do
not attempt to do it again. First verify if your
vehicle and/or comfort module are on the applications
list. Then check the KVW100 whether it has been plugged
in tightly and if you have followed the instructions
correctly.
If
you have any problems you can use a VAG-COM cable to
check whether you can enter the 46 module. If all of
these are ok it maybe that your vehicle is unable to be
updated or possibly you may have done something wrong.

5. After updating
one car can I use the
KVW 100 on another car?
Unfortunately the KVW 100 can only flash one car, this
is a one time use device.
6. Would this affect
the warranty on my car or can it be found by the local
dealership where I bought my car from?
Luckily no, it will
NOT
affect your Warranty, and your dealership will not get
any notification about it being there. As far as
dealerships are aware it’s ‘probably just a feature’. It
doesn’t modify or change anything that would affect it,
as it’s a hidden manufacturer feature anyhow!
7. if my car does not
have the original remote system, can I use KVW100?
Unfortunately if your car doesn’t have the original
remote, you must first install a HELLA Remote System in
your car. Then you can use the kvw100.
if not you can't use the
KVW100.
8. Can I use the
vag-com cable to enable the
"one touch" function?
No!
This is an EPROM flash so you cannot use the
vag-com cable to enable this
function. But for the OEM "hold on" there are special
ways to enable it, such as by VDS. But different cars
have different values and if you get wrong value it will
damage your car's ECU, and even if you get the correct
value it is still almost impossible for the average
person, or even knowledgeable vagcom user/vag
hobbyist to enable the function. See what

9. My VW/Audi/Seat’s is
chipped / modified, would this affect it?
If
you have an Oettinger, GIAC, REVO or APR chip (or other)
it will not affect your chip, erase the program
or modify it in anyway. You are SAFE to use this and
your car will be exactly the same as it was before. And
if you were planning to get a Chip in the future,
the window flash will not affect it either.
10. On hot days i do
not want to use the "auto up" function , how can I do
this?
You can prevent
it from auto closing simply by pressing "lock" +"trunk".
You can also open the windows using the "unlock" button
on your remote.
